Reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for Oversight of Database, Website(s), Content and Global Web issues that are handled by volunteers. The Chair also communicates protocols and style guidelines as needed and as required by USGBC national, assigns tasks to the appropriate Committee personnel and is the primary media interface.

Works closely with the Communications Chair and News Editor to create visually compelling, efficient layout design. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, works closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. Uploads documents to the website on a weekly basis.

Responsible for Quarterly Chapter Newsletters in RSS feed format. The Newsletter Editor may elect to create a team that includes a ‘layout editor’ who is versed in graphics software.

Responsible for database functionality, strong interface with Membership Committee, maintains a sortable, stable list of members and other contacts, maintains database/RSS feed coordination, occasional USGBC listserv coordination (if required by national USGBC) monthly overview and report to the committee.
