Description: The Rockbridge Regional Activities Committee of the SWVA Chapter of the USGBC invites you to Part I of our Solar Seminar Series given by local registered architect Lee Wilson Merrill. Merrill’s talk will briefly give context to why the design community is rapidly moving to highly energy efficient buildings, discuss trends in emerging Codes and the various design Standards, and present a professional review of durable principals of design for the cost effective use of solar energy for home heating, natural cooling, daylighting, water heating and electricity.
