The Lynchburg Branch of the USGBC SWVA chapter offers their Lunch and learn series.

This workshop will cover the basics of green roof types and their benefits, how to maximize a green roof’s potential to manage stormwater runoff, building systems integration, and retrofitting existing buildings. The program will also delve into the new 2012 fire and wind codes. The presentation will include case studies, research, and resources available to municipalities for developing green infrastructure plans to facilitate with storm water management.
